About Us

We refuse to play the role of a pretentious ad agency.
We can’t pull it off because it’s not who we are.

When we started Tripp Co. Creative, Inc., we did so with three priorities in mind:

Doing great work

Treating people really well

Exceeding client expectations

After years of working in creative services and marketing,
we knew that our philosophy wasn’t shared by many design firms or agencies around.

We never had any grand dreams of being the biggest, most hip graphic design studio/ web design company / ad agency around. Why? Because good business isn’t about those things — it’s about delivering solutions that are brand appropriate and drive profit. If a few awards were won along the way, great! But that’s not our end goal.

What we do

We thought long and hard about this section. Initially we were just going to list out a bunch of services we perform and move on, but we realized that doesn’t give the whole picture. Then we tried to come up with a very complex explanation and put ourselves to sleep just writing it. So we knew it was time to distill. In its simplest form, we do branding, design and marketing for print and web media.

At Tripp Co. Creative, we know that coming up with great design is half our business. The other half is building strategies and brands on time, on budget – and most importantly, on target. Whether you are a small business start-up, large commercial enterprise or non-profit, we have the expertise to help you define and achieve your goals. Oh and if you want the list of services, you can explore those below.

Key Players

Tripp Co. Creative is a team of graphic design, marketing and new media veterans. The core members have more than 40 years of collective experience. Our exclusive network of independent and freelance professionals gives us the flexibility to handle projects of all sizes and scopes.

Scott Tripp

President / Creative Director  ext. 1002

Scott’s parents knew he was destined to be in the advertising industry. When he was little, Scott would stop everything he was doing when the “I’d like to teach the world to sing” Coca-Cola commercial came on and he would sing and march along. Scott has 18 years of experience in the advertising industry and started Tripp Co. Creative, Inc. in 2008 after having worked at large and small agencies alike. He did so with three priorities in mind — doing great work, treating people well, and exceeding client expectations. After years of working in the business, he knew that his philosophy wasn’t shared by many creative agencies around.

Isabel Pastrana

Vice President  ext. 1006

Isabel’s love of everything creative and artistic started at a young age when she wrote and directed her elementary school play about Earth Day (it has been theorized that Al Gore stole most of his schpeel from ACT 2). Since then, she has been able to turn her love of the stage and writing into a dream career in communications and marketing. By day, you will more than likely find her managing client relations and pitching campaign ideas for Tripp Co. By night, she moonlights as a graduate student of Webster University where she will receive her M.A. in Communications Management this fall.

Perry Patten

Operations  ext. 1001

Ever since he was a child, Perry was running a tight ship. His G.I. Joes were always in perfect order and they followed his every command. It’s no wonder he was destined to handle the operations at Tripp Co. Creative. Having worked with companies to maximize profit and increase efficiency, Perry knows the ins-and-outs of what it takes to keep Tripp Co. running smoothly. His primary focus is on the establishment and optimization of day-to-day operations in various areas of the company.

Tom Finan

Director of Account Development  ext. 1008

We’d like to say what Tom wanted to be as a child and have it be funny. Sadly, Tom only ever wanted to be a writer and in the communications field. His Father started St. Louis CNR magazine and passed it into Tom’s capable hands. He still carries the torch to this day (so that means Tom is not just a part of the Tripp Co. team, he’s also a client). His main goal while working with Tripp Co. is to develop new business opportunities and to facilitate successful collaboration through relationships, written and visual communication and implementation of the latest available technology.

Sarah Thomas

Marketing Specialist  ext. 1003

Traveling all the way from the sunny plains of Kansas, Sarah joined our crew in hopes to add a feminine touch to the TrippCo team.  Ironically, as a recent graduate and avid fan of the University of Kansas, Sarah’s interests fall more in the lines of competitive sports and well-brewed beers.

Sarah earned a degree in Strategic Communications from the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications. Much to the chagrin of other employees who are avid Mizzou and IU fans, you can usually find Sarah taking bets in the break room, and rooting for the town that started it all. Rock Chalk JayHawk!

Sam Harris

Art Director  ext. 1004

A graduate of University of Missouri, Sam is somewhat disappointed that Tripp Co. does not have Marvel Comics as a client. As a kid, he was obsessed with X-men, Ninja Turtles and, strangely enough, Strawberry Shortcake. He gave up his dreams of being a comic book artist for the cleaner lines of design. After his internship at Fleishman Hillard International and a freelance career in Kansas City, he made his way to Tripp Co. where he has already been a big hit with all of our clients.

Joe Ewing

Senior Designer  ext. 1007

We were going to put a nice long bio about Joe on our site, but Joe doesn’t say much… so this will be short and sweet.

Joe went to college; got a degree and then came to work for Tripp Co.  He is amazingly talented and brings a lot to the table. Clients are already thrilled with the concepts he presents. We aren’t sure what Joe does in his free time or what his favorite cartoon was as a kid. We can tell you he is the best dressed in the office and drives a Blazer.

Lucas Richter

Lucas (a.k.a. Dragon) is a recent graduate of SIUC. Upon earning his degree in Graphic Communication, Lucas decided it was time to say goodbye to his days as the comedic prop genius Carrot Top and pursue a new career as a designer.

We first noticed Lucas because of his outrageously desperate, yet brilliant self-promotion campaign: My Grandma’s Attic. Since joining our team, Dragon has made some amazing animations and manage to foul the office air with the stench of White Castle burgers. Thankfully, our clients have been able to focus on his magnificent photography and design skills and not the smell of his lunch. Only time will tell what the future has in store for Lucas and TrippCo, however, if early indications are telling it appears we’re all in for a wild ride.

Adam Michael Roach

Web Technology Specialist

Adam had no idea what he wanted to be when he grew up. All he wanted to do was play video games and take things apart to see how they worked. He was grounded most of his childhood for taking apart his toys, the television, stereo and typewriter. Needless to say, he went through quite a few toasters (and quite a few groundings) before he decided that he wanted to code websites. Putting the abilities to build and rebuild from the ground up to work, Adam enjoys a juicy bit of code and leading the web technologies at Tripp Co. Creative. When he’s not coding, Adam is enjoying being a new daddy. Make sure to congratulate him when you see him.

Laura Parker

SEO and Social Media Specialist

Laura’s childhood was filled with confusion. Every time she would play hide-and-seek she felt compelled to make herself easy to find. All the kids told her this was wrong, but she just couldn’t help herself. Fast forward {removed at the request of Laura} years and she is helping Tripp Co. Creative’s clients get found in searches and online directories everywhere. She is a wiz at SEO and social media PLUS she is Google Adwords Certified.
