Tripp Co. is on the lookout for a top-notch Sales/Business Development Professional

Due to our rapid growth, Tripp Co Creative, a creative consultancy on the Illinois side of the St. Louis Metro area, is actively seeking an aggressive, motivated and professional sales consultant.

This highly talented individual needs to possess the ability to understand the complexities of our service offering and communicate with “C” level decision makers, gain new business and manage that customer relationship. Additionally, this person must possess strong consultative, proven strategic selling abilities and be able to interact with company executives and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarize yourself with all Tripp Co. service offerings.
  • Phone prospecting from existing leads list, setting up appointments, preparing and presenting sales proposals, closing deals.
  • Actively and aggressively prospect for new customers by generating new leads; turns potential leads into sales results.
  • Ensure smooth, seamless on boarding of new customers or customer processes.
  • Actively identify customer needs and ensure profitable solution-based selling to increase revenues and create value added customer relationships.
  • Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and customers of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
  • Attend networking events on behalf of Tripp Co Creative.
  • Visit potential customers and explain our services as necessary.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year industry experience and 3 years sales experience (Prior sales experience in creative services, printing, internet or related mass media is a plus)
  • Sufficient industry and technical knowledge to communicate effectively with a variety of industry groups. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • A strong customer focus; commitment to delivering quality solutions and maintaining effective customer relationships
  • Motivation necessary for achieving or surpassing objectives; passion for improving delivery of services with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Business competitive person
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure and close deals
  • Exceptional presentation skills, written and verbal skills
  • Minimal travel required
